How boring is this section in most websites! I find myself struggling to explain who we are without putting you to sleep…wouldn’t that be ironic.
We are a former music manager, a general contractor and a pattern maker. Our mutual passion for coffee led us to create La Bean Coffee.
We spend enormous amounts of time looking for the finest beans, creating the most delicious blends and roasting them to perfection to ensure you get the perfect cup of coffee every time.
We are Fair Trade Certified and very passionate about enjoying a mutually beneficial relationship with the farmers who grow our coffee.
Buying Fair Trade Certified coffees ensures that farmers are being fairly compensated for their hard work and that they can practice sustainable agricultural practices leading to ecological stewardship and excellent coffee.
Our philanthropic goals are also local. We donate coffee to The Children’s Annex, a private, not-for-profit program designed for children between the ages of 2 and 12 with special needs. We also donate coffee to The Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless. They provide many avenues of assistance to those individuals and families in need of food, shelter and medical care.
We live and work in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York. Between the three of us we have 5 dogs and 4 horses. For more information about us…just give us a call, we love to chat.
